RIYADH: The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence has postponed the full enforcement of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law until March 17, 2023.
This is in response to the views received from all types of stakeholders — including individuals, public and private entities that participated in the public consultation on the draft of the implementing regulation of the PDPL — to achieve the ultimate goal of such a law and to take the necessary measures in light of these recommendations.
SDAIA said that it encouraged all stakeholders to participate in its cooperative initiatives to enhance such a law through participation in future consultations.
